My interests

With cricket now becoming my employment rather than just an enjoyment, I have left that off although I will always love the game.  But here are some of my other interests in life ...

Rugby has always been a great enjoyment to me.  You can read quite a bit more about my love of the game via the link on the sidebar.  But I will watch almost anything, both rugby union and rugby league and have enjoyed watching and supporting Bath and Havant over the years.  But my journalism work has seen me take an interest in many other clubs.
I am sorry to say but I am rather stuck in the 1980s for my musical tastes.  I have a wide-ranging musical collection, including every single 'Now That's What I Call Music' tape/CD since they came out in 1983 - Now 63 is out very soon!  As for groups, I like Level 42 and Scritti Politti primarily but I am also becoming a big fan of a new group with a very bright future called The Feeling, who I saw recently at a gig in Manchester - they were superb.  I do like current music in parts but it's the 80s stuff that I much prefer ... unlike my Dad who loves his classicals and my Mum, a follower of Barry Manilow!
Now, what is this flag all about!  Well, it is the flag of Bulgaria.  A country I knew very little about until I embarked on a rugby tour with the Solent Barbarians in 2001.  Since then, I have been back to this fantastic country four times - twice more for rugby tours and once on holiday with the girls.  I have taken a great interest in what is happening, having made friends with many people over there and I hope to return for a fifth time very soon.  Nosdrave!
